Activity Title: Emotional Empowerment- Part 1

Suitable age of children: 10 -12 years old
Activity objectives Recognize, express and manage emotions Development of empathy Learning positive and alternative responses to unpleasant emotions (anger, rage, sadness, etc.).
Activity stages "The alphabet of emotions". During this activity the students were asked to name an emotion for each letter of the alphabet. The students had the opportunity to recognize the basic emotions and were motivated to talk about them. Then, they categorized emotions into pleasant and unpleasant. "Hidden emotions" and "The wheel of emotions". During these two different activities, through separation and anagramming of words, students were encouraged to express emotions and discuss alternative ways of managing anger and emotional outbursts.
Discussion: The students talked about what they liked most, what difficulties they encountered or what impressed them most during the activities and what they want to remember from the lesson.
