Activity objectives (2 or 3) 1. Students will be able to feel the rhythm in a particular music. 2: Students will be able to match the rhythm of the music with their moves. 3: They will be able to realize that how their body react to the music.
5: They will be able to use their imagination. Materials needed for the activity: speaker, worksheet, colored markers
Activity stages (p):
Warm up : Teacher introduces the topic and prepares students for mindful posture for giving instructions. Such as take a deep breath, take your mindful position for 5 minutes
Teacher ask that prepare their colorful pens, and tell draw shapes and lines in different colors to illustrate the music that they hear.
Students will match the rhythm of the music with their moves. While they are listening to music, they will be aware of their body.
4: They will share their project about how they draw at the end of the activity.
Evaluation criteria: The lesson is effective if during this activity:
- It helped them step away from planning and overthinking. ( focusing on moment ) - Created inspiration on them - Students shared their project about how they draw. - They realized the power of music, and importance of music for their imagination.
They had fun and felt mindful.
They improved their language skills while they are planning about what are they going to tell their friends.
Activity results:
The music helps to keep students focused on the present moment. A good exercise to encourage something different. They practice mindfulness. Experience of art, and be more in touch with their body, sensations, and emotions. There is no right or wrong way to respond.
