Activity Title: EMOTIONAL BINGO (1 session) School: I.E.S Antonio de Nebrija high school School subject: English Suitable age of children: 10-15 Activity objectives (2 or 3): ·To identify emotions used in the game ·Understand how we feel when feel these emotions ·To associate emotions to different situations and physical responses ·To represent the emotions ·To recognize other’s people emotions ·To accept and respect other’s people feelings Materials needed for the activity: ·Printable bingo cards ·Box to get out the small emotion pieces of paper ·Pieces of paper to cover the answers Activity stages (please briefly explain the process, roles of participants, guidelines, teaching tips, etc., so that other teachers can successfully implement the activity): ·First step, we place all the small pieces with the emotions into a box or a paper bag, then we distribute the bingo cards among all the students. Each time that we take a piece of paper we will ask; §What is this emotion? §How do we express them? §When do we feel like that? ·We can ask about a memory related with the emotions ·The first player to achieve this and complete the bingo card, shouts "Bingo" Evaluation criteria: The lesson is effective if during this activity: - Students are able to differentiate emotions -Students know how to differentiate emotions and are able to say how they feel Activity results: With the development of this activity students become aware of the different emotions that produce different situations.
